Recommended Supplies for Yoga

  1. Yoga mat (see link to guide below)
  2. Yoga pillow (small, typically filled with buckwheat hulls)
  3. Simple blanket (to keep you warm when doing relaxation and breathing)
  4. Comfortable, warm socks

Participation in the group requires no purchases on the part of the participants. For each group, group leaders will provide a yoga map and pillow for every participant. However, you are welcome to bring your own yoga supplies. This can help you to transition the group experience to your home as you practice your skills and work on integrating new choices into your life. If you'd like to purchase your own, yoga mats and pillows can by purchased locally at the Himalayan Institute of Buffalo (841 Delaware Avenue, 716-883-2223).
